    Hi!
I have the same issue, and it seems to be a common problem. The Swedish service center had no clue about this when I emailed them. They haven’t received a single K1 with this problem, but evidently it exists.

    Hi Paul
Thanks for this enlightening article. This can be a really serious issue regarding long exposures and specifically night sky photography!!
I wish you could consider giving more details and information about the sample image ( iso, shutter speed and…) and a link to the original raw file. This way we can also have the chance to truly examine the matter.
This is extraordinarily essential, since It’s not easy to find many such examples yet.

    Regards

    Hi
First of all: thousands of apologies for the unintended second comment, which is not only polite at all, but also extremely unsound!! It’s a piece of text that has been shared erroneously.
I understood at once, but couldn’t delete the comment.
    So sorry about this clumsiness.

I saw all your posts, sample photos and extra data on PentaxForums! So this way even my original comment is answered in the most perfect way!! 🙂

    Many thanks
    Best wishes
    Pooia
