I have enjoyed looking at your work! It's beautiful. I love landscape digital photography and am just beginning with it as a hobby. Thanks for sharing your work. Arkansas is a truly beautiful state for landscape photos. I will continue to visit your website and others to learn and grow in photography.

Hello Terri,

Thank you for the positive comments. I have enjoyed photographing Arkansas now for almost 30 years and
as you point out it can be a most wonderful experience.

Paul,
I have been an avid casual photographer for several years; however, just recently I have chosen to rachet up the level of my passion. I am concluding the first round of photography classes and will continue in the next level later this year. However, I am finding that the more I learn of the technical aspects of photography, the more I simply must take pictures. I am drawn into this hobby. Thank you for inspiring me to continue to learn and to practice - but more importantly, to enjoy!

Paul:

I was in Mt. View this past week and I saw some of your beautiful photographs of my beloved Ozarks at the Arkansas Craft Guild store there. Your photos were absolutely incredible! I am currently writing a "Natural History of Arkansas" book for the UA Press and I would very much like to talk with you eventually about possibly using one or more of your gorgeous photos in the book. My other books ("Fishes of Arkansas" , "Only in Arkansas"and "Amphibians and Reptiles of Arkansas" all done for the UA Press have used either my photos or those of friends, but certainly lacked the power of yours.

What type digital camera equipment do you use? I have a Nikon D300 currently and use a variety of lenses.

Please let me hear from you when you get a chance. Again, congratulations on your stunning Ozark nature photography!

Blue skies,

Rob

I wish you had some books on the shelf at Barnes and Noble! Amazing shots. These are the most creative shots of Arkansas I've ever seen. Really inspiring! I've been shooting for 15 years off and on, and have never come across such great shots of our state. Do you have any books in print?
