Petit Jean state park offers many great spots for photography. I like to get off the beaten path and look for shots that are as common. I found this small stream running back in the the fall of 2009. It was close to Cedar Falls, but not so close that many other folks were aware of it. If you hike down to view Cedar Falls in the fall, make sure you consider working up some of the smaller feeder creeks that will be also flowing. These creeks tend to be quite steep and some drop right off the cliff making some spectacular waterfalls.
