I have photographed this spot many times throughout the years, but I still like to come back this shot taken back in 2003. Richland creek most times will have a slight flow in the fall. In 2009 it was quite high, but I missed the big day and caught it later in the week. Fall will come slowly on Richland, but when it hits, you will be lucky to get 3 days before the peak color has moved on. Try to hike all the way to Twin Falls and Richland falls as each bend in the creek will offer a unique view. Remember the twin falls area will come to peak color a few days before the main creek.
