Foggy Morning in Lost Valley near Ponca Arkansas

While there are many great locations in Arkansas for photograph, one of the best has to be Lost Valley.  In the space of a few miles there is just so much to see and do.  You can hike up the main trail to see both upper and lower Eden Falls or you can strike off on your own up one of the side canyons to find less photographed scenes.  Be prepared for crowds pretty much anytime of the year.  The best time to photograph the falls is after a good local rainfall.  Clark Creek which runs through Lost Valley doesn’t hold water very long and you have to be quick.  This particular photograph was taken near the entrance to Lost Valley in one of the many farm fields that are nearby.   Trees and fog always catch my eye.
